This is usually at the hands of their mothers too unfortunately.

Happened to me and a lot of people I know. As we got older we realized that our dads weren't as bad as we thought and in fact our moms were the once who were damaged.

Oh you mean kids raised by single moms.

In US society I'd say it's 45-50% across the boards but in the black community its probably 10-15% higher. Some might think it's high but if you understand female nature you'll get the estimates.

Almost all would be my guess. It's a very rare child that can grasp context/nuance early on.


And that ends up saying more about parenting than anything else.
