just look at all those old rap names with snow, ski, rock, etc... it was just normal for a brief period, and as art barr said, it came from disco.

now that i think about it, raekwon said he was smoking it in the song CREAM as a teen which would have been mid 80s.

I guess Crack blunts were really popular back then in NYC. I just never thought crack could be used recreationally. I know Redman smoked them.



To this day, I never understood why Premier was so mad. He's never been asked about this song, never talked about it, and he wasn't known for talking during Gang Starr songs, but he just decided to go on this rant out of nowhere.

He was probably drinking that day. :huhldup:

They didn't call it a crack epidemic for no reason.
Yeah I know I was young but back then smoking crack was frowned upon and was only associated with crackheads but as I got older and mature its actually quite normally for people like primo and those old gen Xers smoking that shyt behind the scenes or in the open :francis:
