I agree. I kind of miss the days of 2000s flip/combo phone designs. In good hands it can work today. Especially when you consider phones have become full blown personal computers and gaming devices. They deserve computing interfaces like the Sidekick and the Blackberries attempted.

Napster was a cannon to the music industry but Kazaa and Limewire were a napalm to everything online Music, video games, movies, software apps, and personal info too.

Mainstream? Nah.

Doctors and such were on it before and after.

The wider use it only lasted for a few years once cellphones became more affordable to more people.

No one even mentions pagers anymore. Answering machines still are fondly remembered.
