What ever happened to that website where you can do different presidential election by answering questions and going on the campaign trail I really wanted to do that one again but couldn't find it.

I forgot who posted it but it seems like it was late last year. I think they framed it as seeing if we could get Al Gore to win in 2000 :heh:

I took it a few months ago, pretty sure it won't change much but I'll take it tomorrow if I have time. :manny:

1. Stop using the term "Bernie Bro." That shyt is dumb.

2. I'm a real socialist who supports worker ownership and management of the means of production.

"Bernie Bro" triggers them v quickly though it's too easy :mjlol:

And ok, so do you actually believe that communism is the inevitable system following capitalism? Or do you believe in a violent revolution to get to that point

I don't think it is inevitable. I think humanity faces a choice between barbarism and socialism, as Rosa Luxemburg succinctly formulated a century ago.

No ruling class in history has faded off into the sunset and dissolved itself willingly. I doubt the bourgeoisie will be any different. I don't doubt that revolutionary violence will have a role to play in any transition.

I've been reading writings by some communists who think that humanity will just stumble into socialism/communism as technology advances... it is possible but I don't find it likely. Honestly I think that at this point, barbarism or social collapse/the fall of industrial society is more likely than a transition from what we have now, into socialism.

I think the complete opposite - the further technology and society advances, the less socialism becomes appealing - standards of living along with so much more goes up. In a pre-industrial society, pre-historical even, collectivism was the go-to, now people are more and more individualistic and I doubt it will regress towards a communist society.

The only way communism takes over the globe is in a post WW3 type event imo.
