Rap albums I prefer over what others see as better;

The LOX - We are the streets over Money power respect
Wiz Khalifa - Wiz got wings over Kush and OJ
Nas - Stillmatic over Illmatic
Nas - It was written over illmatic
Jay - Roc La Familia over all jay albums
Currensy - Verde terrace over all currensy albums
Gunna - Slatt Season 3 over all Gunna albums
Eminem - Marshall Mathers LP is his best album
Lil Wayne - Carter 2 is his best album
I thought the popular opinion was C2 was Wayne’s best album?

Scarface/The Product - One Hunid

Over The Untouchable and all the 2000 and beyond releases (Made, Emeritus etc.) Don't remember "Dying Breed" that much but throw that in there too.

I think alot would disagree on BP over RD
Does Ja have an album that's widely regarded as his best? I personally would take 3:36

Most of the nikkas I know say VVV is his best album. To be honest, all of Ja's first 3 albums were fire

Woah :ohhh: no disrespect but please explain

it's all good

it's yasiin's approach to writing and rhyming on the album along with the production

the stream of consciousness style of writing and rhyming, the "this is what im thinking while recording" style of writing and rhyming

it meshes perfectly with Chad Hugo's, Mr. Flash's, Oh No's, Madlib's, Presevation's and Georgia Anne Muldrow's universal style of production

i love how the songs switch up so quickly but yet still fit together so perfectly like a puzzle.

listening to the album is like taking a trip around the world because of the international sound of the production, the production is so rich and vibrant.

it's almost like yasiin was like, "put on a beat" to whatever producer he was working with at the moment; then he just starting vibing to the beat and immediately starting writing and rhyming to it and the lyrics just came to be perfectly in these moments of recording sessions.

a perfect blend of rhymes and production.
