What’s sad is he’s a good dude that has skill.

First he was not well liked by Detroiters because he got his big break the untraditional way. So if you weren’t in the industry you had no idea who he was until the My Last song came out. People didn’t even think he was from Detroit because his personality is not that of a Detroit cat.

He didn’t start getting real respect locally until his Detroit 2 album around the time of the pandemic but even before that he put in work; was giving back to the hood and putting local artists on his songs, and repping the city right for years. He should’ve been got his flowers.
