Yeah, u right. He did say they recorded Straight Outta Compton in 2 weeks but that's cause they was trying to hurry up and get the album out.

All Eyez On Me was recorded in 2 weeks as well. The 1 thing Pac had going for him with that is a lot of beats were beats that were gonna go to other projects but once he touched down, they started giving him beats for his album. But shyt, the nikka was working like a mad scientist with writing. Cause he wrote that album the minute he got to Death Row.

Migos problem is they are formulaic.

While what you said is true, I would say generally the more time invested into creating/working on something usually transpires into greater results, but not in all cases of course

this. id much rather an mc drop 1 album with 10 classic songs instead of 4 mixtapes with 35 average ones.

this is the major difference between teh eras right there. people say good hip hop today exists, you just have the look for it...
