50 brought the toxcicty? Jada and Joe dissed 50 on a track with Ja and Styles said they were sending subs the whole time. So how did 50 bring the toxcicty?

Jada and Joe responded to an a$$hole who thought he owned NY, and was rampaging around trashing around anyone that would listen to his anti successful Black man campaign. 50 came with the public crusade to destroy anyone who had sold a record and made a dollar.

They didn't respond. They threw the first shots, on a track with Ja rule. That's fact. Styles even said they were sub dissing first. So how did 50 start the toxicity?

funny enough he had the opportunity to sign a lot of people who turned out to be stars but opted not to, that g unit pendant should be roc pendant status these days :mjcry:
:mjlol:

that was never going to happen. g-unit had a corny appeal. I mean even the spinning pendant is so 2000's. Roc chain is timeless. Roc music is timeless. G-unit music is stuck somewhere with pinwheel hats and throwbacks.

all that cartoon super thug shyt appealed to cacs and especially foreign cacs the most.

The constant beef from 50 is what caused their downfall. It was cool on the first two albums but by time he was starting shyt with Kanye (and lost the album sales battle he was boasting about) trying to get Wayne in a battle the shyt was tired at that point. After that Ross pretty much finished him off from anyone in rap taking him seriously anymore.

50 might be the only crew leader to make his entire camp look like hoes :mjlol:

threw nikkas in the bushes....figuratively and literally

it was like....he wanted nikkas to be submissive...then was mad when they couldnt stand on their own two...and if they did (ie Game)...he aint want them around

what really confuses me is why he didn't just throw that iconic g-unit pendant around some young stars & get out the way¿*
The "getting out of the way" part is hard because dudes still want that light. The same way Master P signed a bunch of artist but always found his way all on the song and all in the videos and made them look corny.

They became caricatures of themselves..:yeshrug:
50 brought a lot of toxicity to NY rap, and destroyed the unity and camaraderie that had existed and NYC never recovered. G Unit killed NYC rap :francis:
For all their trying to hog the limelight, they were very average musically and thus not sustainable over time.:manny:

Nikka you had
JayZ Vs Nas
Rocafella vs Ruff Ryders
Wu Tang Vs Bad Boy
Boot Camp Vs Bad Boy
Nas vs Camron
DMX vs Ja Rule
Mobb Deep vs Rocafella
Nore vs Tragedy
Terror Squad vs Rocafella
Foxxy vs Kim

And all this was before 50 blew up. There was no damn ATL like unity in NY in the 90s early 2000s

1) Game and 50 falling out. Before this, G-Unit seemed unstoppable. They had a successful group album. Banks and Buck had successful solos.

2) Tony Tayo's debut. Highly anticipated, but met with lukewarm reception in comparison to the other G-Unit releases.

3) 50 signing Mase, M.O.P. and Spider Loc and never releasing the albums.

4) 2006 was a disaster. Mobb Deep dropped and it ends up being their worst (it had some heat though). Banks' Big Withdrawal leaked and had major buzz, but he scrapped it and dropped Rotten Apple, which did poorly.

5) 50 lost the sales battle with Kanye and delivered his weakest effort at that point

6) Buck's second solo wasn't as good as the first

7) Terminate On Sight. The last straw. Internal conflict was made public specifically Buck.

all of this

Game did the right thing..he became his own man..and made better music and albums than he did with G unit..if only Banks had the same desire

Banks had his second window but eh.

by the way, its ten years since Banks put out Beemer Benz & Bentley.
a reminder how much Juelz floated on that. the last time he shown his star quality.

wonder what much of they tape they started they actually got done.

shame they fell out over Slow and the fact that Banks impregnated a woman that used to get smutted out at Juelz studio and boof work.
("allegedly" - Troy Ave voice)

when you think about it, Fab must laugh everyday that Banks and Juelz pretty much stepped back.
Fab followed to "90% of life is showing up" motto to a t. while the other two, ones a reclusive depressive and the other is in prison going cold turkey.
