Everybody took my suggestions, but if OKC's shooters don't get better from here to then, he's gotta take 3s that at the very least make sense. And he's gotta make a harder effort to get in rhythm shooting instead of just continuing to shoot and shoot until it potentially goes in. Basically shoot better and that's 25% of the checklist

None of what you listed matters if the Thunder don't win 60+ games/win the West, which we know they won't, because the Cavaliers (assuming Irving stays healthy the whole year) and Warriors are pretty much 60-win locks; plus the MVP award is pretty much for LeBron James to lose, since the writers aren't going to want to end up looking stupid like they did after pumping Curry up all year and James took those Finals over. The Thunder are going to have to really overachieve (which is what usually wins these awards, doing better than writers expect you to).

Develop a consistent three point shot is the biggest thing he can do for his game. After that is probably polish up his point guard game (which is already happening).

These two things will probably guarantee MVP bc they would've shown improvement in the craft that can be readily appreciated by all. His numbers are already MVP caliber so he just needs a bit more artistry.

The last MVP with less than 50 wins was Moses Malone in 1982 with the Rockets.
