What series should i choose to watch that I never seen: Game of Thrones or The Walking Dead?? vote

Walking dead,is unusual in that it has quite a pro gun, survivalist theme,when civilised society hits the bricks, a new kind of law takes over amongst the survivors, one that wouldn't fly when there was a functioning legal system. Anyone else agree?, I say it's unusual,because apart from a few exceptions the media doesn't tend to show such anti establishment attitudes in a favourable light in a tv series....

Game of thrones.... love the fantasy theme, plenty of sex and violence ,which isn't just put there for the hell of it, like in some movie and tv shows.The main criticism I have with it, is all the families involved, can be quite difficult to follow at times with their different storylines. The books are also a bit confusing.

I think both are up there,if I had to choose I would pick walking dead because horror/zombie films/tv series that are actually decent, are thin on the ground and I always support the horror genre. Plus I happen to like the end of the world, survivalist theme, I think it's refreshing.

I think the later series are worth watching if you are stuck for something to watch , although I did prefer the original guy. I think the storyline is good, and unlike dexter for instance the later seasons hold up.

One series that I don't think has been mentioned is 'the shield', best cop series I have ever seen. Based I think kind of on a true story 'LA rampart division'. And it also, holds up all through it's seasons, and in fact gets better as it goes on. At least watch the pilot, had me hooked.
