we slowly ending the swag era...RIP
i cant really tell where we goin next

i would like to see more conceptual hip hop in the mainstream
like nikkas with real talents and creative ways to express their music

also i think nikkas should be more expereimental with videos
drop more realistic looking videos less hd cameras and props

i think we need another militant nikka in the public eye too
let nikkas know we aint playin

I have a theory..Hear me out

As the nation as a whole continues to push God out of its poilicies, its motivation, and foundation, when the society of a nation for lack of a better term becomes godless

The thing that will be sought out in art is art revolving around spiritual things

In the past art especially music/dramas have been a contrast to the norms of society.

Though Im not saying thats the only reason, the emptiness of a godless society will cause people to subconsciously look for the depth in "godly" art in which as America becomes more and more godless, art will become more and more religious.

And that is why there will be a rise of religious work, because before it was being "godless" which was the rebellious thing.

Now its starting to become the opposite, and I believe this is just the beginning.

But yea thats my theory :yeshrug:

Except nobody in this generation has that much talent with the charisma to go with it. Even with Kendrick getting praised by everybody he doesn't have 1/100th of star power that those two had.

The game is gonna stay the same imo with the three main brackets:

1.Swag Rap/Soft Hop: Wale,Drake,Ye,Big Sean,Wayne,Wiz Khalifa,Tyga etc...
2.Regular Man: J Cole.Kendrick,KRIT,Spitta
3.Street nikkas: Jeezy,Ross,Gucci,Future,Gibbs,Meek,GBE etc..

if a modern religious rapper was to make it big
it would take alot of talent
and for that artist to realize that he MUST speak to and for the youth

just imagine the scrutiny if they did anything wrong or was exposed for some shyt

that would be the shyt tho
but it takes somewhat of somebody who truly speaks from the heart

good shyt tho my nikka
