Long story short, my neighbor has 4-5 dogs in his backyard which a majority of them are some Pits. They bark a lot but it doesn’t bother me too much tbh. There’s another neighbor (no idea who) somewhere up the road that has another Pit that tends to escape sometimes and decides to go beef with my neighbors Pits and that’s when all hell breaks loose. :francis:

Backtracking, I don’t spend a lot of time in my backyard but back in November when I went to the shed to get the Christmas tree one of those Pits was going ape shyt and even hopped over the fence ending up in my backyard but he was chained up so he really couldn’t do anything. I just grabbed my Christmas shyt and kept it moving.

:hubie:

About a week or 2 after that I was In my backyard and the dogs were barking again so the neighbor came outside saying he’s planning on getting a privacy fence installed because he knows we’re tired of hearing his dogs act up. He asked if it would it be okay to remove the old fence because it’s one fence that’s covering both our backyards but it’s more on my properly line and I just shrugged and said yeah that’s fine with me.

Now early this morning that neighbor up the road I mentioned Pit got loose again and went to fukk with my neighbors Pits but this time it was bad. Two Pits were fighting in my backyard because it hopped over the gate again while chained and was stuck. One of my side gates doesn’t close all the way and there’s a gap that rogue Pit probably squeezed through. :snoop:

The fence is damaged where my neighbors Pit hopped over and rogue Pit were fighting. I’m wondering if I should mention it or just let it slide since he’s supposedly getting a privacy fence installed in a few months.

I'd speak to the neighbor about the issue, but don't be aggressive or confrontational about it like some people would as that will only make matters worse. Cover yourself just in case any shyt pops off at your property because of their negligence especially considering that there's no guarantee that they'll even do the private fence like they say.

Quote for repairs.
A property tort is a sub-category of torts relating to damage to property. It is an unlawful interference by one person, of another's enjoyment of their private property. It arises when the right invaded is a property right rather than a personal right.

Bout ready to call animal control on them shyts lol
Better yet, call the police. Depending on the city, a couple things could happen. They could come down on the dog's owner, they could shoot the dogs on some "I feared for my life" shyt, or they could hit the owner (if they are called enough times for that problem) with nuisance abatement. The latter will make the owner wish they police killed the dogs instead. :conceit:

Above the fray.
How long are these leashes where a dog can escape, hop over a fence, and still be "chained up"?

Seems like just a matter of time before one of the "loose" chained up pits kills somebody.

Owners aren't in control of their animals. Contact the city/Animal Control and document exactly what the possible public safety issue is.
