What should or will be the reaction when Chauvin is acquitted?

Can the trial atleast start before the coli begins its doom and gloom.

Voluntary discussion breh not doom and gloom. We know the history of these cases and can make predictions and discuss the issues intelligently without sensationalizing. I would argue right now it's actually the other way in that many ppl are assuming this is a slam dunk case.

Might've been BS to begin with. Make him look more sympathetic by his "willingness" to do some time but then Barr plays "bad cop" by not allowing deal.

I don't know, but he should have took that plea. It's cheaper, better for the country (as opposed to an outright acquittal for instance) , and I think "10 plus years" falls within the realm of justice being served.

I'm cynical so I expect him to get off. There will probably some violence in Minneapolis and a few other cities, followed by lip-service and condemnation from businesses and politicians. It'll eventually fall out of the non-black public consciousness 3-4 months later.

The police station would get blown up by a rocket launcher, and a whole summer of protests with no BLM.

That's your perception breh.

I don't let ANY of this shyt affect me. None of it. And that's what I counsel anyone who asks my opinion. UNDERSTAND what is happening and act accordingly so you can support yourself, your family and anyone else who depends on you.

Feeling overly doom/gloom or breathlessly exulting/overjoyed is silly because NOTHING will be any different in this country the day/week/month/year after the verdict.

An acquittal with violenve would be the worst possible outcome. The right would seize on the acquittal as an indication that Chauvin was innocent the entire time, and that the whole "BLM summer" was a sham and political theater to drum up "anti police" sentiment and raise money for Democrats. Any additional violence would be blamed on "the left" throwing a tantrum because they can't cope, and right wing politicians and organizations would make a killing in donations.

Democrats would push police reform, but would likely fail in the face of inevitable anti police violence.

Gang violence...
the cynic in me thinks:

chauvin walks because they will come to the conclusion that floyd was killed by some kind of drug induced excited delirium. if they can pull grandmaster jay out of his hiding place he will lead an armed cosplay march in a city near but outside of minnesota right around the time they announce the decision. then every old black christian preacher in the community will be given a megaphone and told to preach about mournful acceptance and the talking point about how "floyd would not want us to burn the city down" will be commonly heard. there will be an army and police presence in the area that the nation's capital really needed in january. and finally, i think a floyd relative or his widow will do some public demonstration of forgiveness. a hug of chauvin might be a bit too much, but at least a speech about forgiveness will happen outside the court.

i hope this is all completely wrong

He def gettin convicted. His killing of George Floyd def woke up something in America. Plus after seeing that coward who killed that kid for playing his music too loud and that white female cop who killed the sleeping black man get sent to jail, I got faith.

Right wing media has been spreading the myth that Floyd died of a fentanyl overdose and I think people are buying it because now only 39% of the public believes that Floyd was murdered (down from 60%).

i know, it's funny too.... i wonder what the reaction would be if a citizen had their knee on the neck of police officer and the police officer died after that... wonder if they'd excuse the death as the officer had a preexisting condition... lol... actually, they would... they did that in the capitol riot police murder..... but what if it was a black citizen with his knee on the neck of a white police officer...? ahh, now that would be a clear case of murder to them no matter what....
