Invest and become entrepreneurial. Truly successful rappers are the ones that put the mic down and sit on top :eat: shrimps and shyt. You think 50 gives a fukk that he aint relevant anymore?

The dude's probably got 3/4 restaurants that rake in the amount in a year Drake would make in 3.

I got mad respect for cats like Chamillionaire who drops a mixtape/album every now and then to keep the fans happy but last I heard he invested his money right and doesn't have to tour anymore to make that cash. :shaq:

this is the right answer

Stanford's Entrepreneurship Corner: Chamillionaire, Music Artist & Performer

His Houston based Fly Rydes car shop (which he co-owns with his business partner Ernest) designs, rents, and sells cars to corporations and high net worth individuals. He owns a tour bus company, and his emerging Chamillitary Entertainment label has a talented roster, including rappers Famous AKA Lil Ken and Yung Ro, and R&B act Tony Henry. He has also become a real estate magnate.

nikkas should start a rap school or coach aspiring rappers. Think about it, actors got schools they go to and learn the craft, many times from former actors. Athletes the same thing, most coaches are former players.

makes no sense to retire as a rapper, this aint athletics, your knees and back don't go out in rapping. as long as you got a name you can eat off rap, no matter how long you been around. i'm sure doug e fresh and krs and them are still eating

work within the business.
Media, production, managing, a&r:ing, distributing, marketing and on. That's why you should be a cool cat and make sure that you do people favors and they will come back when you need them after the career ask Dame Dash.

Problem is that so many rappers and shyt have the biggest ego and a lot of them are also dumb as fukk outside of the booth. So they might not even be able to wake up in time to be at the office or their ego tells them that they are too big to help with booking artists to a club.
