What should Sony's/Microsoft's compensation be for the latest outage?

I think network issues should be expected on Christmas with all the new users but also, I think the customers give them more than enough money for them to invest in their network servers to prevent this type of issue. Or at least have a quick resolution for this type of attack. It's never a good look for your network to be down when that's half of the gaming experience nowadays...especially for new users who can't get the full experience due to the online issues. I say that they should give a least 2 free games (in addition to whatever deals they have at the moment) and maybe a month of free online service. Sony for real needs to step up their network security.

Not gonna cry about a few days lost and expect them to reimburse me,and I consider myself a loyal customer to Microsoft,not on some Stan shyt like most of you on here,I've had xbox live for 7 years,and it's already prepaid for another year and a half,bought my xbox one on launch day and have bought well over 15 games for it,and the only thing that bugged me was how much they dropped the price in one year to the next,but my first thoughts weren't to think to myself that I should receive money reimbursement,cuz I got to enjoy playing next gen online,it would of been cool if they gave me some xbox store credit or something,but they didn't,it was still worth owning my xbox one first year

This wasn't nearly as bad as the XBL outage from 2007 (or as it 08) when Live was down from the beginning of winter break till after New Years Day. So I don't think they'll do anything other than issue a small apology.

they dont owe us nothing. but man the right thing to do is lookout. Xmas is the biggest gaming day of the year IMO. Gamers had college breaks & days off from work. these pimple face pricks also took away that xmas feel that new Xbots & Quad users were to exprience(still could play the quad, but just certain games). i cant imagine having a system that i never played right in my face. i would be so heated.
