He's clearly improved as a player, he's gotten a lot better off the dribble and no longer settles for long 2s. When he plays the team is significantly better and I would consider his play in the postseason the past two years the main reason for the deep playoff runs the Wizards made. And despite being in the league for four years he is only 22.

That said, it is obvious that he will always have injury issues. He has not played a full season in his four years in the league and in a season in which he vowed to be healthy it seems he's missed more games than ever. He also recently said he will always be on a minute restriction :francis:

He wants the max but his injury history should be a cause for concern. What do you guys think the Wizards should do?

Either pay him, or do what OKC did with Harden and take what you can get for him

It's hard to say cause whose to say that Beal won't have an injury free streak at the age of 25 and then goes out there and averages 25 a night for the next several years after that. With his size and shooting ability you need to tread lightly and don't want to let a player of his potential go and then he goes out and shines with another team. But at the same time you don't want to overpay him and he ends up being injured for the rest of his career. Either way though if the Wizards don't pay him more then likely there is someone out there who will.

Yea it is. Steph couldn't stay healthy for years to the point people balked at a contract which is now considered to be criminal underpay now that he is healthy
How many years? Has beal even played a full season like steph did before any injuries? Not comparable

Steph had 1 season where he played 26 games. EVERY SINGLE OTHER SEASON HE PLAYED 75 GAMES OR MORE.

The ankle was a concern for 1 fukkin season, and that's only cause he injured it twice that year. That shyt was never an ongoing issue as ESPN tries to make nikkas like you believe.

The thing your leaving out it...the season he played 26 games was the season he was due for a contract...that's why it's comparable. Dude got underpaid to due to perceived health issues

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
Maybe he pulls a steph and stays healthy randomly

Not the same situation, Steph had ligament issues from constantly rolling his ankle that could be fixed with surgery and better ankle guards, the biggest problem with Beal is he's got brittle bones, he gets the same stress reaction in his tibia every season. It's basically a ticking time bomb until he has a fracture.
