100K will go a long way in the A, but at the same time if you making that then you are probably going to want to live in intown somewhere like Midtown, O4W or Buckhead. And I wouldn't call rents/mortgages over there pennies. You looking at about 1200-1700 for a 1BR in those areas. That aint no NY, DC, or San Fran prices but they not cheap either. If you making 100 racks and want to get a real nice spot for pennies then you would have to look at somewhere like Decatur or Camp Creek. But then you gotta deal with traffic, nikkas looking to come up off of you and really no amenities for what someone making that type of money would want to do.

Dude. That IS cheap.

If you really want, you can find a 2 BR for around 1500 and cake off that shyt. Its really nothing.

breh thats cheap :mjlol:

:damn: at $1200 - 1700 for a 1 to 2 bdrm in the souf. My mortgage is cheaper then deez shyts:damn:
EDIT: Gotta re-evaluate my scrilla.

Yeah it's cheap...wouldn't call that pennies though. Unless you coming from NY, DC, or SF.

You could get a 1 BR for 1500-1900 on the Northside of Chicago in one of those older high rises with a view of the lake. It's all relative really

Your talking PRIMETIME real estate as well though. No other city has rents that price in the most desirable areas

Yall keep thinkin you gon have 2000 square feet 3 bedroom for $900 in the A just cause "its the south" :mjlol:

If you want to live in the city (midtown, O4W, VaHi) in something pristine, even a STUDIO is going for $1k minimum

In Atlanta a 1 bedroom apt is around
500ish in the hood :scust:
750-800 in a middle class suburb :ehh:
1000-1400 in a upscale trendy neighborhood in the city :win:

@Doc Holiday
Anywho.... on 100K in Atlanta you should be able to cop either a 3000-4000 square foot house in the suburbs or a condo or townhouse in the city that makes you go :noah:, drive a luxury car, go on vacations, and still have plenty of disposable income. :win:

Yeah, I had a two bedroom apartment just inside of Buckhead at 1300. I was about to buy a house in East Atlanta (a new subdivision) just before I moved and my mortgage was going to be like 650 or 700 (it was a good deal because it was bank owned). It was pretty much brand new.

1700 to 2000? 1 br? Make 100k before taxes and apartment shop at the top tier apartments and condos brehs.

150k to 200k that won't be a problem, but why not settle for a really decent apartment or town home for 900 to 1300

I'll be damned if I ever spent 40%+ of monthly income on a fukking apartment
