I'd say it was 
for the most part. Got lucky and got called in to work on Tuesday so was given the 24th off. Got to go with my family out to a holiday dinner. We don't always get to spend the holidays together all four of us. We saw two of our childhood friends and it had been years since the four boys were together. Our mom's are best friends. We would spend weekends together, vacations, everything. It was good seeing them both. Then today my friends/other family had their baby. A baby girl, so that was exciting. Got to see her before work and hold her too. Got there not long after birth. And of course mom's had to bug asking when I was gonna make her a grandmother. 
And I had to work tonight until about 1230. Luckily we closed at 10 but everything was a disaster to clean up. So it ended like but got off tomorrow, but even more work coming this weekend.

Went up to the Aunts place this year and Grandpa doing much better with his health
& seeing what my moms & brother got me
