Long post so if u don't feel like reading skip this shyt...I'm not "bashing" either....I've talked about what black men need to improve on before...i don't consider critiquing to be "bashing"
I'm not on here much nowadays but this is opinion of what some black women are not getting/understanding....this is based on what a lot of single women say and do wrong
Bragging about having degrees/educated yet forgetting that men care about looks first - It's great for a woman to be educated, but personally the first thing i noticed was my gf's looks, and then her personality, hobbies, etc made me like her even more, but that's not the very first thing i noticed/cared about, the first thing we notice is your outward appearance, if we don't find a woman physically attractive a lot of us won't care how educated you are. Looks are what initially catches our interest. That doesn't mean u gotta be a perfect ten but you shouldn't forget that men care about looks. If we find a chick unattractive, most men aren't going to just be like "well you're educated, so marry me!"
Honestly unless the dude is trying to leech off of you (which is the type of nicca you probably don't want), degrees/education/salary is not the first thing we look for in women. Not saying we don't CARE at all about it, because some of us do. It's just that it's typically not the FIRST thing we notice. We notice looks first and the other positive stuff is even more of a bonus. Brehettes if you're reading this soak this game up. Women are saying stuff like "i have a degree in xyz, a good career, where is the brother on my level?"
Yet she may be overweight, or whatever...Women need to be more conscious of this
Lastly, thinking that "hood rich"/ black men are more appealing than 'regular', not as flashy, more fiscally responsible black men. Don't take it wrong if you're reading this brehettes...I don't think all black women love "thugs", but I do think some of you do yourselves a major disservice by judging black men by their sneakers and/or what type of whip he drives instead of what he's building or has already built. I know dudes who might not wear Jordans or maybe might not drive a flashy colorful car but own a nice house, have a business, has money to travel, etc. Tyquan may drive a flashy car but he still lives with his mama in the hood while working at Burger King and selling weed. Some of u are easily fooled by a man's toys/trinkets, and then after you realize he really isn't headed anywhere and is a drain on you (financially, or mentally etc) then "nikkas ain't shyt"
What u expect, you're going off of stuff like shoes, his car that he's still making payments on, etc i will admit that there are more "ain't shyt" dudes than good dudes but there are still enough good dudes, it's just some of you don't want them until after you spent years dealing with some bum/"hood rich" type nikka with no career or ambition to even ever have a career
