I'm obsessed with this track for the simple fact that I've been searching for the sample for years. The answer to what the sample is is simply not on the internet, nor have I met anyone in real life who can identify it. The drum break sample is known, but not the sample for the melody. I don't think I'll ever find what he chopped up:mjcry:

This song for the same reasons listed above. I can't identify the sample, and I've been searching for years.

Don't they have some app or something that identifies samples? Maybe it isn't a sample?

The only app I know of is the who sampled app. They have a website too, but they don't have the sampling credits for a lot of songs. I'm a sample based producer, and I'm like 100% sure those two songs were sampled. Those aren't original sounds. In the first video, you can tell that it's a chopped up sampled. The producer is known for flipping obscure shyt too. The second sounds like it might be a loop, but it could be chopped as well. shyt man, I'm glad you made this thread, cause now I'm thinking about seeing if the producer on the second sample has a Twitter. I might start one just to tweet him and ask him what the sample is. I can't do it for the producer of the first song because he died about 5 years ago. R.I.P. Nujabes:mjcry:

The rawness, the hyper self-awareness, just the fun that comes such a macabre album (great work out/sloppy drunk music)

Took me awhile to get into FlyLo's LA; so glad I gave it a shot, such a subtle fun listen, like this is what LA would sound like on any given day. Really gives off that night vibe.

and that voice sample being John Coltrane brehs :blessed::ohlawd:

The matter of fact-ness of this track, doesn't come off like it trys-hard...SK La'Flare's verse truly grew on me and a smart move by Earl to put him to be the opener on his album. Earl's verse and that almost grim reaper presences:ohlawd:

Another Cali track....Not much need to be said with this brehs :ohlawd:

Danny Brown's energy is just so refreshing and his delivery should be noted as extraordinary and he has quoteables for fukking days.
