boxing, wrestling, rugby, soccer.

I played football and all the stoppage in play, it's nowhere near as intensive as the aforementioned. You get used to that shyt, rugby on the other hand I played for 4 years and was never able to be at full tank ever during that time

you have to some beastly cardio for cycling. those tour de france motherfukkers must average like 80 km a day...and a lot of that is going uphill on mountains and shyt. that race is loooooooooooong and intense.

Not counting cycling because of similar reasons to track and field, I would say modern tennis and boxing. Modern tennis involves not only a lot of running but also incredible strength and power is necessary for each shot and you have to expend massive amounts of energy to pull it off. A rally can also go on indefinitely, as can a match itself. Djokovic and Nadal are insanely well-conditioned. They are like modern day gladiators. They try to kill each other physically every match.

Similar story for boxing. No real sprinting involved but the extreme blows you take have a huge impact on your stamina obviously. It's limited in time though so tennis would probably take the cake I'd say.

those saying soccer...have you actually ever played soccer in your life?

Maybe as a box to box midfielder...but you act like the sport's just ppl running wildly. If you play your position correctly and strategically...you will not tire out.

Growing up, when I played soccer even for 90 minute games I never got tired until maybe the 75th...now when I play wide receiver/corner during pick up football a nikka be bust.

As a wide receiver in this NFL you are running at full speed pretty much every play, even some run plays because you want to give the impression that its a run. Then you got to run all the way back to the huddle.

underrated...formula one race car driver
People on the Coli don't like to count racecar drivers as athletes, mostly because they're ignorant.

But yes, F1 drivers are in incredible shape. They experience forces only figher jet pilots have experience with and their reaction times have to remain elite through the entire race. They do tons of cardio and strength training. They have necks like football players.

Anyone who has driven a car on racetrack for 15+ minutes knows that its a mental and physical workout.

These cats don't know tho!!

F1 driving is SERIOUS! Dudes be losing 5-10 lbs in sweat each race. It's one reason these cats can't race every weekend.
