Myself. fukk 12(1)!
I did well in both, but Diff Eq kicked my ass so hard in college :why:

So I'm gonna go with Math as most difficult for me... most of the science courses I took (O-Chem, P-Chem, etc.) I loved.... well, I had a love/hate relationship with P-Chem.

Pretty hard to separate the two.But if you struggle with some shyt like intro Biology/Ecology you're a moron (or just lazy)...

Not sure what state university you attended, but at a lot of universities, Intro Bio is a weed out course to get rid of several hundred pre health aspirations. Organic Chem and the MCAT/DAT destroys the rest. I don't fault people for not being able to handle the rigor and volume at which they throw the information out at them. Sure as hell doesn't them make them a "moron" because they couldn't handle it. It isn't for everyone.

As far as the thread, I prefer science. For the most part, while some branches and concepts do require comprehension, most science at the collegiate level is memorization. Memorizing formulas for upper level math courses will only get you so far. If you're better with numbers, you'll like math better. If you're better at memorizing large volumes of information, you'll have an easier time with science.

Maths when you get to the abstract level and you run out of latin letters and greek letters and zeta and lamda are telling you which direction to go and you have to prove what is true when this and that exist. Then you may just end up wanting to kill yourself. :merchant:

Thank God for the word NO :camby:
exactamente

Linear Algebra made me it's bytch and so did Logic and Algorithms (the exams did at least)

I'm a software engineering guy though and abstract problem solving is my forte, but I just couldn't get a hang of induction for the life of me. I had a old ass Russian teacher for linear algebra and this dude forced his phd research shyt on us instead of focusing on the basics.

I know it's a weed out course.I saw plenty of kids freaking out because they were getting 82's and were borderline on the passing requirement.Intro Bio is straight up memorization no different from an Intro History course. If you don't have the ability to memorize shyt like the differences between meiosis/mitosis,krebs cycle or the anatomy of a starfish you're either a moron or just flat out lazy.I understand people finding Org/In Chem difficult .That's higher level shyt.

Depends. I took Business Calculus and it gave me the blues. But every other math class was a breeze. I decided to not even go for the biology or chemistry in college b/s I already knew the terms I had to memorize would kill me so I took Planetary Science which I loved.
sohh what's the fundamental theorem of business calculus

When they expect you to know from the get go. Then there's always that one person in the lecture who knows enough to correct the lecturer which shows you just how clueless and lost you are lol

My teacher made a rude joke about engineers :steviej:

Not rude per se but something along the lines of, you are followers, mathematicians are the true leaders and innovators.

Again , this just assumes every university is the same when in fact, the rigor in these courses vary and it isn't as cut and dry as, "I got it, you're just stupid." Take intro Bio at UChicago and then take it at your local state institution. All of these courses arent created equal. It takes a hell of a lot of ignorance and arrogance to infer otherwise.
