When they expect you to know from the get go. Then there's always that one person in the lecture who knows enough to correct the lecturer which shows you just how clueless and lost you are lol

My teacher made a rude joke about engineers :steviej:

Not rude per se but something along the lines of, you are followers, mathematicians are the true leaders and innovators.
:skip: IMO the truth is literally the opposite.

sohh what's the fundamental theorem of business calculus

Honey that was 7 or 8 years ago and I have never needed anything I learned in that class a day in my life. You think I actually remember fundamentals? FOH As soon as the final was over I mentally unloaded everything to gear up for next semester.

You one of them smart Ivy League nikkas than :camby: you don't count

Advanced calculus is fukking a young nikka up :to:
Harvard/MIT/maybe 1-2 others p much lock up the top STEM talent in the country/arguably the world

At Dartmouth/Duke tier you're getting more of the reasonably bright careerist types not future scientists

Cornell is up there.
For some reason no Ivy schools but Harvard, Yale, and Princeton ever do well on the Putnam
It's either random state school or [one of the three above, MIT, Caltech]

seems like all the math/science geniuses either go to a super super top school or don't give a fukk and go to their state school :manny: ain't no geniuses thirsting for second tier Ivy basically

Depends. I took Business Calculus and it gave me the blues. But every other math class was a breeze. I decided to not even go for the biology or chemistry in college b/s I already knew the terms I had to memorize would kill me so I took Planetary Science which I loved.
What is business calculus?
