First, I am a woman breh. Second, to imply that any type of calculus is "easy" is ridiculous. There is just as much information as a basic calculus course. There are applications in the course that someone majoring in math may not even be exposed to. Different and applicable does not mean easy so stop trying to undermine the accomplishments of others. It's not a good look. Get over yourself.

There is a reason Business Calculus was created as a course for athletes at GT. It may not be "easy" but its a lot easier than regular calculus.

I did well in both, but Diff Eq kicked my ass so hard in college :why:

So I'm gonna go with Math as most difficult for me... most of the science courses I took (O-Chem, P-Chem, etc.) I loved.... well, I had a love/hate relationship with P-Chem.

i hated organic chemistry. i didnt understand it at all. general chemistry was so much easier. its like night and day.

:shaq2:Failing my class as we speak, trying to retake it at my local cc where there is less material on engineering aspects :sadcam:

Do what you gotta do to make it. :damn: That course is no joke. Does your major require calculus based physics, because the easier alternative is algebra based if you have that choice.

piece of advice for anyone in college now. take your math or sciences in summer school. (physics, chemistry, calculus). its much easier to take when you dont have other subjects to tackle. you can solely concentrate on your math/sciences

I was the polar opposite, but everyone I know that had both classes either excelled in one and struggled with the other - no exceptions. I remember hearing horror stories about organic but I enjoyed it much more than general chem and it came much more intuitive. A theory I've heard parroted is that the more visual learners have an easier time with orgo, whereas the number oriented students fair better with the math heavy nature of general chemistry.

sounds about right. i struggled in geometry. but loved algebra and trig

excelled in the sciences throughout hs and college. was good at math in hs, but in college had to use tutors and resort to brown nosing to make it through. not having used a damn lick of any college level math professionally or personally since then furthered my resentment of math subjects..
