What subject is more difficult? Math or Science?

Figured they were both fairly easy, left Math for the most part back in high school. Went into Chemistry, got a 5 on the AP exam and started as a sophomore for my first year of college.

They placed me in Organic Chemistry as a first year. Within two weeks

i hated organic chemistry. i didnt understand it at all. general chemistry was so much easier. its like night and day.

I did too at first, but then when things started finally making sense, I started liking it more and more. I liked O-Chem II a hell of a lot more than O-Chem I.

My professor was playing no games on the first day of class; he was like " At least 1/3rd of you guys won't make it to the end of this class, and another 1/4th will probably pass with a C"

Had me like at first, but I ended up with a B... I was when those final grades were posted.

Unless you've taken it then you are just selling tickets. Thousands of people pass calculus every year (if you even took or passed the course.) It's no special accomplishment. But whatever gets you through the day.

piece of advice for anyone in college now. take your math or sciences in summer school. (physics, chemistry, calculus). its much easier to take when you dont have other subjects to tackle. you can solely concentrate on your math/sciences

Or at a community college where it's cheaper and you can afford to take it more than once if you fail.

You're the one who's so proud of his/her business calculus pass/grade that s/he won't accept that it's less rigorous than the calculus stream for math/science/engineering brahs

excelled in the sciences throughout hs and college. was good at math in hs, but in college had to use tutors and resort to brown nosing to make it through. not having used a damn lick of any college level math professionally or personally since then furthered my resentment of math subjects..

Again , this just assumes every university is the same when in fact, the rigor in these courses vary and it isn't as cut and dry as, "I got it, you're just stupid." Take intro Bio at UChicago and then take it at your local state institution. All of these courses arent created equal. It takes a hell of a lot of ignorance and arrogance to infer otherwise.
