For me it was

organic chemistry, physics and applied calculus
That Asian teaching that class had nikkas in a headlock he taught it somewhat ok, but he was hard to understand and it was so many different concentrations that needed the class, so the class was full, and he wanted you to show your work, so nikkas couldn’t just easily cheat

i was so glad when I passed that class

All of the sciences used to kick my ass you hey I was in middle school and high school. Pretty sure it’s just because somewhere along the line I told myself I was “bad” at science and I just manifested it out, because later on I had no issues learning about physics or chemistry on my own.

Weird shyt is I had a perfect math SAT score in high school but math kicked my ass in college. Pretty sure that had a lot to do with me chasing hoes instead of studying.

I was a A student on most subjects but I had to work at science. The only science I was really good at was Physics but I credit the teacher he broke it down really well. One of the smartest Black men I knew.

Calculus 2 and Statistics in college for sure.

Calc 1 was taught be a friendly British guy and he had a way of making you understand things just by listening to lectures. Calc 2....tough Israeli professor that loved frequent random quizzes and hard exams.

Quizzes only counted for 10% of our grade.

Exam 1 = 25%

Exam 2 = 30%

Exam 3 = 35%

Our class went from 90 students to 43 students after Exam 1. Never so happy to get a B in my life ("average" was like an 85 overall for the class).
