What team should Jordan have joined for second comeback?

My memory is fuzzy i just remember that the Hamilton trade was dumb in my opinion...I know he was in wizards front office so that was the obvious choice, but their had to be better alternatives as far as what talent to bring in or another team that would have had a better shot at winning

Jordan wasn't the same guy by 2002 but in a good situation could have won a title somewhere just not with the Wiz

Lakers to be Kobe's back-up :troll:

this is true

wasn't no other team he could have went to during that time that would have netted him a championship

Kobe's backup or starting as a SF (who was the Lakers SF back then anyway? i forgot....either way that person wasn't better than an old Jordan) position on the lakers was his only option

while we're on the topic, I'm surprised there hasn't been a 30for30 documentary on Jordans time with the Wizards yet

Glen Rice started in 2000, than it was Rick Fox from 01-04. Maybe Kobe at the 3? :ehh: I did like Fox and was a great teammate and was good on defense and sacrificed his offensive game when he came to the Lakers, but Phil would probably start Jordan out of respect, plus ain't no way teams were going to beat Shaq at his peak and Kobe coming into his own as an absolute great player in 2001, nothing the league could do about it.

Adding Jordan to the lakers 5 just wouldn't be fair and i find it difficult working to be honest...Jordan on that nets team would have been something though

Wasn't Jordan trying to recruit other players at the time?

Probably should have went down to Miami with Riley or back to the Bulls...

With injured Alonzo?

Chicago would have been nice but wasn't the roster garbage by then he would have had to have brought a great free agent in

Who were good free agents those years

the spurs, he would have played with duncan, robinson, def. more chips

Probably the best suggestion honestly...probably best shot to beat lakers and east would have been a cakewalk

And he would have meshed well with that squad...Kobe would possibly have been ringless had this happened

Aren't we talking 2001? That's when MJ returned. In 2001-02, Zo played 75 games and we know Riley and MJ are close. Riles would have convinced him that they could make a quick run i think. Zo & MJ were members of the David Falk Empire also. Bulls would have been a challenge MJ needed, since they won 15 games the year before...
