Aren't we talking 2001? That's when MJ returned. In 2001, Zo played 75 games and we know Riley and MJ are close. Riles would have convinced him that they could make a quick run i think. Bulls would have been a challenge MJ needed, since they won 15 games the year before...

yes we are i just did a roster check on 2001 miami heat it showed he only played 13 games maybe i looked up the wrong year. But he definitely would have been more competitive in miami than washington.

I just think he felt that Washington was going to be long term front office for him so he probably never considered any other teams, but he played practically for free those return years so technically he could have joined any other team he wanted

had he thought it out a little better he could have had 7-8 rings and been able to shine with better talent...he could have had great playoff performances although his regular seasons weren't going to give him his 30ppg average he was used to

Trailblazers

Reunion with Pippen!

That blazers team with Rasheed Wallace had the lakers practically beat one year if i recall

Man so many alternatives to history that Jordan could have joined...if he would have known the Wizards were going to fire him from management he should have sent his talents to a much better situation

Zo didn't play in 2002-2003 after the bad Kidney diagnosis, and retired early in the 2003-04 season when he was traded to the Nets...
