17 degrees, windchill is 8 right now in Missouri.

Last winter the windchill was -40.

Having said all that, I 100% prefer winter over summer. I don't get cold easily but anything above 65 degrees I'm hot.

Montreal is a pretty bilingual city. I went in i believe 2007/2008 I can't remember but people were friendly. I tried to speak some French but they knew I was American and switched for me.

I don't think the rest of Quebec is friendly though. I've heard, like many French, they're pretty insular to anyone who doesn't speak their language.

I've never been to Quebec, but I've heard the same thing.


Montreal is a diverse, cosmopolitan city. Lots of English speakers (and speakers of other languages).

However, the rest of Quebec (especially the rural areas) is overwhelmingly White and very towards non-French speakers.
