This...high capping term was from like the late 80s early 90s. But many kats back then would say capping.

The crazy part is some of this Chicago slang like E-way, Shorty, Joe, Bet (which he didn't use, but is still used) and etc that he used is old slang that been used in Chicago by black folks mostly for well over 30 years (the younger kats still use the slang).
