BTW, that picture makes me glad I didn't grow up in the 80s (although I did but I really wasn't old enough to remember them). I just could not wear shorts like that. That's how it was though. You couldn't buy big jeans or baggy jeans or big shorts cause that was the popular style.But hey, all of that flamboyant bullsh!t was going on back then. Hair bands, glam rock, eddie murphy's red suit in BAD, new wave, Prince, that whole androgynous movement, the first appearance of Manhattan art fags during the 80s art boom, short shorts, neon, mad crazy overtly sexualized and over the top bullsh!t.

Now come to think of it, we was kinda oding on the baggy gear back in the 90s...and honestly it just seemed like a natural reaction to this.
