The Internet and social media make it very hard for any one black leader to get the collective attention of the community.

People like that would just get drowned out by 100,000 other people on Youtube in 2025.
Strange cause other people use sm for mass organizations that form around leaders. Like Charlie Kirk was viewed as a leader cause the cac boys listened to him on sm.

SM is a powerful tool for everyone but us it seems

One thing I wished we practised more was patience and humility……WITHEACHOTHER.

Take working together for the example and not even something big and extravagant. It could be somthing simple like you a couple patnas buy a big ass house and live in there building equity until you all have enough to buy more homes, rinse and repeat. But na we be out here underhoused doing bad by our damn self.

We were once a communal people but slavery really turned us into faux cacs.
agree. my mom has a mortgage. she's retired. but she won't move in with me where she won't have no mortgage. black folks don't like the community living thing for some reason. my house big af and i told her she could have a bedroom upstairs with her own bathroom or the whole 1500 sq ft unfinished basement that i would let her design to her liking.

she could sell her crib pocket like $300k n chill. i don't get it.

i see these Indians around here but these big ass houses n move like 10 ppl in everyone making bread. rinse and repeat then they own the whole neighborhood

Thats pretty much what im alluding to. Because of the inequality of resources among black and white people, its hard to reward our people for sticking to a code. We would have to be in a country where we are the majority and are able to produce and manufacture our own resources. Even then we can still be at a disadvatange globally and lose our best talents and companies to coutries abroad who will give them more.
If we concentrated in multiple connected states with coastal access and were the majority, we could achieve something similar. There's no benefit to being as spread out as we are, especially in the South

Say what you want about Indians but they are playing life on easy mode in regards to housing. Yea you can make fun of their living arrangements but then look at how they are dominating and taking over prime real estate. I respect it.

My mom lived with me in 2020 and decided to move back to the city because she’s a city person.

Let me get this straight, you at my place where’s its basically half of yours, access to a vehicle 24/7 to go take the bus and renting in the city. Oh ok 🤦🏽‍♂️

These are great posts. Group economics and comunal living work in tandem with each other. But only if people are willing to share and make temporary sacrifices. And we know sharing is a taboo word in our community.

Everyone wants to climb up the ladder and take it with them. :francis:
