He’s just dropping music just to do it at this point. He’s made a lot of money. Nobody stays hot forever especially somebody like Wiz who’s been in the game for like 15 years

He’s rich and enjoying life. The brand is stronger than the music at this point, similar to the way no one is listening to new Snoop music but the business of being Snoop remains super strong.

Wiz been out for years.. Rollin Papers was 11 years ago. Crazy how the time went by. That album dropped during my 8th Grade year.

Lots of new acts blew since then(Future, 2 Chainz, Meek, Young Thug, Migos).

Wiz makes that chill music just like Spitta. He ain't gotta rap on no Drill beats to impress kids and hypebeasts.

The moment he got on. You can see he had different plans. He was trying to build a brand and make himself a icon.

Which he accomplished. Thats why the moment he signed that deal all the swag he had from the mixtape era disappeared. It looked and felt like he damn near became a sell out.

You could instantly see that him and Currensy were going into two different directions. He wasnt trying to be raw underground sound drop 100 mixtapes man. Which is funny cause thats exactly how Currensy turned out even tho at one point they were both the same type of rapper.

He always had the vision of turning himself into a new age snoop and he executed it pretty well.

Even down to him doing a tour with Logic right now that alone should let you know what type of time he's on.
