Quite often actually but do you think that would be picked up by the media? The goal is to isolate us. I appreciate any concern or support from any group from whites to punjabs and so on, however, we're too far behind the curve to be trying to make our plight their plight. Trust, those groups are more than capable of handling their own business. Definitely not liking the #AllLivesMatters vibe here. BLM is all over the place.
Why can't Deray focus on black issues?
Heres the problem...I don't have ANYTHING against the LGBT community. I support all their rights and all that...but the problem with having dudes like Deray and Don Lemon on the goddamn TV every night is that they imbue their gay struggle with the black struggle instead of separating the two.
I understand...both are "issues..." but they never know when to just go TOTALLY black when they have the mic in their hands...its like they forget they have a platform to speak to a SINGLE issue. The "people" didn't retweet you and elevate you into this position you have because of how universally minded you were, they did it because you spoke to a black set of issues...now you get big and you wanna start this intersectionality talk? Well damn do it without trying to water down every argument that comes across your desk.

Please stop with this "we need allies" speak as if we're not grown adults capable of making our own decisions and utilizing our minds and bodies to create change. WE don't share the same struggle/ Only one race out of those minority groups were enslaved and made property on a global scale for 400+ years, colonized, disenfranchised, lynched, redlined, imprisoned, had laws and places in the constitution made to make sure that they were the underclass and the servant class in order to continue being a source of cheap/free labor.
And another thing, all of these other minorities use the black american struggle to get what they want and once they do and they get that beloved white seal of approval they could give two shyts about our black asses. Alot of those groups have deeply embedded anti-black sentiments in their cultures too. AS well they've received the most benefits since the civil rights movements than black people have...
It's like, they rock with you...like your music...your slang...your style...but the moment you don't want your toes stepped on and you want to do your own thing or you want them to stop setting up shop and making money in your neighborhoods, they call you an "abeed" or a "mayate" or a "negron" or a "nignog" and let you know they on that

Funny how every time i've came across Deray on television or twitter his comments have been exclusively about black people, but he strays from that a little bit and people in here through a fit because they can't stand someone who's not "isolationist".
