Fam, every trailer I posted literally mention's the director before any of the cast or the name of the movie. "Tarantino's whatever number film" for example. That is directly marketing off the director's name. A long while ago, you had no idea who was directing a movie based off of trailers.

He's basically the creator of every show on Paramount+ besides Mobland. All the Yellowstone shyts, Landman, Mayor of Kingstown, Lioness, etc. They got him working harder than ESPN has SAS

Directors mean more to push films than many actors do these days. I’ve noticed that trend since at least 2018.

Nah. Ask someone who stared in marvel movies and they can name them. Ask them who directed it and they usually can't. Probably why directors pushing to have their names out more now, nobody knows who they are.
