This pc is pre-built. I was looking for one with a 3080 and they simply disappeared at the time I was looking. I resigned myself to the 3060. Still a great card though.

I bought a 1650 before the pandemic at 100 bucks, last time I checked they were like 400 at amazon

I'm lucky enough that this card has been able to run every game released so far so I will probably be good untol shyt cools down and I can upgrade.

Crypto mining, the low-mid tier gpu's dying off somewhat, and of course supply chain issues...

I don't expect the gpu market to get back to "normal" for another 2 years..

My son wants a gaming computer for Christmas.. 5 years ago, I built a top of line desktop that can edit 4k video out my drone and play any game on the highest settings... Couldn't have cost me more than $1000 and most of that was the chip and the graphics card..........

I just tried to build one last night.. Not only are the shyttiest cards STARTING at $400... They are also sold out everywhere and can't be bought for under $800. I looked up the card I bought and it was $309 when I bought it and it's now being sold for $450... nikka how a used card being sold for $150 more than it was worth 5 years ago...

Did I miss something? How can I build this shyt for under 2 g's
