Both are still bigger retailers than Amazon. Amazon just dominates the e-commerce/online market.
But Bezos been bossing up, in 2015 he got a license from both the US and Chinese governments to operate as an ocean freight forwarder. Giving him freight container space at wholesale on ships between the US and China and if he doesn't want to use his container slots he can sell them. He has leased 20 Boeing 767s from ATSG and another 20 from AAWH so that he could have his own fleet of planes to move his products around the country.
