Because he does nothing to me as a singles. The only time I found him at least compelling (though I still didn't think he was that good in the ring) was when he was going full fukkery with the Bullet Club

I actually think they should probably go back to how they treated the Club to AJ relationship early on when he was a face and they came in as heels.

Finn needs to have a strong face run coming out the gate. Let them be at odds, but I'd let them kinda not be a stable just yet.

Let Finn build up his stock and stay a face till next years Mania so he can debut the DEMON BALOR there (he should really as best as he can save that till then so he can have the epic ring entrance and from then on only do it on the BIG PPVs like RR, SSlam, and SSeries).

After a strong face run.... then turn him heel to join the club.

Throw him in the bushes with Cesaro and let them headline Superstars.

Obviously you do something with Gallows/Anderson, preferably not a rehash of what they JUST did with AJ. I don't see where he fits into a title picture with Roman and Seth, but also don't see where he fits in teaming with The Club.

Make The Club turn on AJ on Sunday and form the Balor Club. After that they should be booked like The Shield taking on different groups and dominating for a while.

The Shield didn't have them either. They just beat random team ups (a tag team + random dude) for a long ass time until the Wyatts showed up and then Evolution

I wouldn't have The Club turn on AJ. I'd have them have a clean split with no animosity. Then we see The Club team up with Balor on RAW.

I'd have them run into each other in the back on a major PPV (SummerSlam) with The Club embracing AJ, but AJ & Balor are stand-off'ish with each other. I'd have them team up at Survivor Series to fight Super Cena and Friends. Balor gets eliminated, but AJ wins the match. The feud eventually boils over at the Rumble where Balor eliminates AJ with the help of one of The Club members (maybe Gallows). Karl Anderson is still loyal to AJ though. The feud culminates at Wrestlemania with AJ vs. Balor, where the Club reunites and beats down one of them.

No need for a feud between AJ and The Club - keep them as a "real world"/cross-promotional organisation like The Kliq... they've already talked on air about being together in Japan, no reason why they can't be aligned whilst working for "different" promotions.

Leaves them free for the odd surprise ring invasion/beatdown on the opposing brand and gives them the chance to seem heelishly out of step with the company in front of the fans.
