- So Trump isn't blatantly lying about the stats.
- Significant number of Hispanics and AAs still depend on gov't assistance even in good times.
- Thriving economy started under Obama, not Trump.
- Hispanics and AAs finally have been able to take advantage of upturn in the economy (2015, 2016, respectively).
- Technically, we're still not doing better because our wages and wealth are under 2000 levels.
Anyone who believed that Trump had improved the economy for minorities was already too dumb to follow an argument like that one.
The only value of that article is to give non-Trump supporters talking points so they're not flustered when Trump supporters bring up the economy. But it's not going to convince anyone, because it relies on logic and nuance, and those both jumped the shark for anyone who supports the disaster in the White House right now.
