I own a Samsung and a Dynex for the bedroom, Best Buy brand but I've had no issues with it and picture quality is good enough for a bedroom TV.

Haven't had any issues with it.

I mainly use it for games. Netflix and streams over PS3Edia Server for most of my viewing content.

From my experience, Game Mode is the best for viewing video. There isn't any lag while gaming either. And I play mostly shooters and fighting games.
