Roku has a few free sports channels but it's kinda struggle level stuff and not the big league quality you're used to. However there are apps for MLB and NBA that you can subscribe to or link in your existing account from.

There's an African/Caribbean app that streams live soccer if that's your thing. I keep forgetting the actual name but I've watched it a few times.
