Bullshyt. I used to ride my bike all the time and constantly rode on the sidewalk. If its illegal, no cop is out there enforcing it. I've never had any problems for 3-4 years I used to ride my bike everywhere.Where do you live at? NY?

If there is a dedicated bike lane that wasn't just a line in the road but had like an actual curb to separate it from the road, then I rode in the street. Otherwise, like I said, outside of it just being annoying for you dudes to be on the road as a driver, if I still rode my bike, I know a lot of people behind the wheel are dumb-asses and I wouldn't want to compete with a 2 ton hunk of metal moving at 40 mph anyways.

Like I said, most cyclist only insist on riding on the street as a fukk you to drivers and due to a persecution complex. "Don't tell me where I can and cannot bike a$$hole!" is the attitude I get from a lot of these folks. Just about ego.

I used to live in NYC, yes. We had dedicated lanes there and you'd get a ticket if you didn't use them. I'm in NC now and it's less strict, but even still, I prefer the street to sidewalks for a couple of reasons.

Biggest being I can hit damn near 40 mph on some of the hills here.... On a sidewalk that is begging for a hospital visit. People pulling out in cars onto the street will see you on the street before they see you on the sidewalk. People walk on the sidewalk.... Again unless you ride at the pace of a light jog that will get problematic quickly. Imo if you are too scared to ride on the street stick to public parks and trails and shyt or don't ride at all. But unless you are like 10 or under riding on the sidewalk makes no sense

i've tried really hard to reduce my anger at drivers over the past few years

last two things that still hurt me are when people try to make illegal left turns on major arteries in rush hour. im all for bending a few laws here and there but that's just foul. we get in that lane to go faster than everyone else because we're late to work

similarly, when there's a left turn lane for a signal and people dont pull all the way up to the car in front, so people in the left lane have to stop even though they're just going straight. it could all be solved except for people who stop a car length behind the next guy for no reason whatsoever

You keep a car length distance with the car in front of the next driver and dikk heads that cut in from so you're right up on them
The mother fukkers in a rush to cut you off and speed pass when there is crazy traffic in front of you... Where the fukk you going in this fukking traffic.

Motherfukkers that double part and block one of the lanes on a two lane street.
When there's traffic getting off at an exit.. the motherfukkers that drive all the way down then cut in front of the car right as the cars get off... :trolling: all the drivers that waited in line.... no wait.. I can't be mad because I do that all the time

People who speed up to merge into my lane when they easily could have gotten behind me instead. There'll be no car at all behind me but idiot wants to speed up and go ahead. Then they slow down when they finally move over.
People who don't know how 4 way stops work. These shyts always an adventure.
People who wait late as fukk to get into a lane, then try to force their way in like it's my fault.
Anyone who has a break light out. fukk you.

Edit: Also, people who align their vehicles perfectly with yours at a red light. I HATE that!!! I don't know why, but I do.

Female drivers on the damn cell phone driving a vehicle too big for her to handle. One dumbass broad fukked my front light up driving one of those big redneck trucks with the oversized wheels was backing up..
