Add on speeding in parking lots. Especially nearly full and packed parking lots. Had some chick almost crash into me a few days ago in a parking garage because she was going like 30 mph on a corner turn in a full parking lot

I used to live in NYC, yes. We had dedicated lanes there and you'd get a ticket if you didn't use them. I'm in NC now and it's less strict, but even still, I prefer the street to sidewalks for a couple of reasons.

Biggest being I can hit damn near 40 mph on some of the hills here.... On a sidewalk that is begging for a hospital visit. People pulling out in cars onto the street will see you on the street before they see you on the sidewalk. People walk on the sidewalk.... Again unless you ride at the pace of a light jog that will get problematic quickly. Imo if you are too scared to ride on the street stick to public parks and trails and shyt or don't ride at all. But unless you are like 10 or under riding on the sidewalk makes no sense

Figured it was somewhere like NYC, Austin, or San fran or some shyt. Basically any city that worships Europeans lol.

I understand the convenience, especially if you have a road bike which is sounds like you have. In my case I always bought hybrid street bikes since I wasn't biking too many miles since I was using it in conjunction with the bus. However, I just view riding in the street as an unnecessary risk for the sake of getting speed. At least a car is engineered to minimize injury and death when you crash. On a bike, you have no chance against a car going at a normal speed. As biking has increased in popularity, bike deaths have increased.

I also hate when people stop at a yield sign when no traffic is coming.

Or when there are stop signs perpendicular to your position and the person is in front of you (say entering a mall) and dont have a stop sign but they stop anyway. like bytch YOU DONT HAVE A STOP SIGN, KEEP IT MOVING DAMN!

Or when you're going 80 in a 65 and a big ass truck behind you has your whole car illuminated because they want to pass. Im like 'YO, I'm already going 15 over the limit with the flow of traffic."
