i'm thinking about upgrading the exhaust on my car because the stock sound is

my shyt is stock since i bought it, i think its time to upgrade this shyt.

I've got a 335 that I've tuned and installed an intake on. Downpipes and FMIC are soon to come.

As for muscle I also have a WS6 that I did the diff on (3.73), intake and exhaust. I'll post sound clips and pics soon if you're interested.


My opinion tho it would be in between the SLP and Cherry Bomb Exhaust.

I'm not doing anything to my Impala. But when I had my Pontiac Grand Prix I had a Cold-Air Intake and changed out the supercharger pulley. That gave me an extra 40 horsepower. That was back when I was street racing. I was about to have a 100 shot of nitrous installed but when the transmission started to slip, that was the end of that. The next fast car I get, it all depends on the engine that's in it. But it's going to be a while before I get something but when I do.....

did you do the exhaust, headers, and all that shyt?
i was reading that if i install headers on my shyt that it voids the warranty. im only 1.5 years in, so iono about doin all that

yea it would be dope if you up the vid... i just want a better sound for my car, 5.0's stock sound is i dont know why chevy muffled the shyt out of camaros

what kind of cold air intake?
i'm considering a k&n cold air intake, they seem to have good reviews. doesnt add much hp, around 18HP around 5500 rpm. i can probably find one for under 230$

I had a Cold-Air Intake made by a company called ZZP Performance that specialized in 3800 engine performance. If I was you I would go with the K&N filter. I said myself that every performance car that I own would have something like this just to start things off with the upgrades.

Well, how do the Mustang GT V6 sound? Kind of regular-ish? Right? But the 5.0, louder. It's partially how they want to differentiate the V6 and the V8. V8 owners will "feel" like they are getting a better car.

Even base-model Corvettes have a pretty mild exhaust sound. So when Chevy makes the Camaro SS, they'll stick a louder exhaust on it. It's "somewhere" to go to upscale the more expensive model car.

the l99 needs a tune and will completely wake it up, the stock trans tune is horrible.
