I inherited mines from my dad and they were on their last leg when I got them. I vaguely remember that at some point, only one ear worked on them. :francis:

They weren't like that when he gave them to me but... things happen. :francis:

you know what as you said that…I definitely remember having to replace them every so often cuz one ear would short out lmao

I was a jit so I didn't have any money to replace mine. I'd just have to wiggle the cord and hold my head in a certain awkward position cause that's the only way the other ear would work. :mjcry:

I’m fairly certain I had this one…

…but more than anything I loved these style of headphones at the time bcuz the ear pads were flatter and a bit larger than the previous versions that were smaller and had a puffier ear cushion…

Had this with some headphones from Radio Shack. The bass in them hoes are the leading cause of hearing loss in Black males ages 37-49

yeah between that and the recording/mixing I used to do, I was dealing with tinnitus for a while but it’s gone away…but when I was riding the train my shyts would be loud enough for ppl to hear my music word for word…I used to sit next to white folks bumping “death certificate” lol

Megabass joint ditched the headphones that came with it and copped the gray in ear sony megabass headphones

I still have my Sony DD Quarts with the Megabass option and my Sharp JC K99. That DD Quarts was built to last, you can still find pristine looking ones but the price is almost retail to what they went for in the 80s, especially the Budokan edition, that one was almost a rack. Sound quality was amazing on the DD if you had a good source and chrome or metal tape(Maxell ,TDK, That's EX)
