:blessed: BP in NC, DMV including Bmore :wow: at end of MySpace era, right when FB was becoming popular beyond college students.

You know its a mess when you got a chick in PG and one in Montgomery Co at same time with same name, but you live in Bmore.

What a crazy time that was. It was an all black Myspace hookup app. Mind you this all went down during the super thug phase too.

I remember messaging a lot of brehettes posing with bikes.

so it sounds like all y'all wish something like that existed again today? sounds like everyone was a huge fan

I think it had its time. It can’t really be recreated.

You gotta understand that the reason nyggas hold it in such high regard, is because there was literally nothing like it. The very first time I met a female off the internet is because of that site. I’m sure many others would say the same.

There’s a lot of ways to meet women online nowadays. That wasn’t the case back then.

LOL .... man its crazy how shyt has changed , those days a woman looked exactly like she did in her pictures , all that editing shyt that they all do now wasnt available , I dont even think fat women were using angles in pictures to deceive men back then

man , bytches adapted faster than skynet , they know more about editing software, lighting , camera angles than anyone....

There were no angles but posting old pictures was certainly a thing!!!

My homey got catfished one-time off of black planet. Matter of fact I actually drove him over to the girl's house to meet her and she was about 200 lbs larger than she was in her picture.

Needless to say hes still smashed while I waited in the living room :francis:

Aside from the hookups the best thing was the sense of unity, everyone was building with each other , no trolling ,

One of the greatest things was talking to black people in countries that you had never been to , and discovering that we all were going through a lot of the same experiences.

Its so hard to describe what it felt like because its really common now , but we were talking to people in places that we had never been to , so everyone wanted to know everything about how people lived

I remember that no one was on some who is better steez and everyone was interested in discovering what life was like in each others countries.

IT was so positive and you just felt a sense of unity .

And Now... smh sometimes progress isnt always progressive

Couple people got famous off that BP.

I hit so many randoms off there of just hung out with them. I sent mass messages within 300 mile radius of NJ. Road trip weekends down to DC PA MD, then up to upstate NY shyt even Canada.

There wasn’t all the fraud bullshyt you deal with today. I actually dated someone I met on there for a couple years.
