Biggie, Pac, Wu Tang used to kill shyt. Even LL had club bangers off that Mr. Smith album.
But you had Jodeci and other R&B groups with good shyt to dance to at the club.
Plus there was some good dance/hall reggae back then.

You didn't need to coordinate shyt with tweets and text messages.
You just went out.

:manny:

nikkas used pagers back then, then used a pay phone or their one friend who had a Zack Morris brickphone

The music was way better in the 90s, the people were better, the whole vibe was just next level. Then the 2000s came, and shyt fell off. Today's music is shyt, the people are wack and clueless. Millenials just don't know. :wow:

Music is better now as far as partying is concerned

Yeah people back were more likely to get down as they didn't have to be worried about being trending topic of the city the following day.

i'm asuming ppl went to go and actually party...not take 100 pics to post on IG later that night/morning
This shyt is so overstated on here.

If you go to the club most people is actually dancing.

Its mostly because music today is made specifically for partying

this minus the cellphones, club wasnt saturated with bytch nikkas, face to face interaction between man and woman was considered normal

From Pasadena to Medina

Then peek the prognosis, doses
Blends and Bends like Twizzlers
Biggie's fitting to hurt
What's under that skirt?

Who fillin 'em with octane?

80s baby here, can't really talk about clubs, but the house parties in the Chi though as a youngin' though :banderas: Nowadays if you grind up on a random chick you might get stomped out, back then it was EXPECTED. Like you were a lame if you didn't get up on a chick. I used to get chicks at house parties off the strength of my dance floor grind game. I can only imagine it being the same in clubs. Nowadays everybody wants to sit at a table, take photos, and sip on drinks :to:

I partied in Boston. Not everyone played Hip hop so it was a community at those spots:dj2:. So it was an event every time a new promoter started a hip-hop night. Made mad friends because we would all end up it the same clubs on different nights, and the college girls :ohlawd: . We listened to college radio and used word of mouth to find the next spot jumping until it was shut down then on to the next.

Getting a girls beeper number was like playing roulette you could get a real number :takedat::troll::blessed:

or you can get a fake one :stopitslime::comeon::snoop:

Best time of my life brehs.

People actually danced..
Lots of wild violent nights, shooting, stabbings etc.
The music and vibe was very good.
Djs broke new music there.
