I think while Kingdom Come and MCHG were weak by his standards, I feel like those albums get hate because at that point y'all started to dislike Jay-Z the person which clouded the opinion of his music.

Volume 3 doesn't age well AT ALL, and that's considering Big Pimpin and So Ghetto were on it.

Nah Jay Z has some trash albums. Maybe due to context, as a followup to BP and Ether/Stillmatic/Nas, it was definitely mindblowingly disappointing

KC, Vol 3, and MCHG each had at least a couple quality songs, with the majority being just average, lukewarm, or wack. The problem with BP2 is that it had about 5 or 6 quality songs but the rest of the 20 or so were trainwrecks. So if you calculate the batting average on that...
