jay's a point were for him to make more money he has to appeal to the cacs. so he just has to make albums where he's wants to be european and talk about all these european stuff that have nothing to do with the common black ppl.
like dude above says, the album is nice for 3 weeks but after it dies off. might be some lines in the album that reference drugs and stuff. and whoever that stuff appeals to might or will like it..

jay should be an exec eating off j cole type artists. she should get his old ass out the way and put that energy on artists like j cole. i dont wanna see his old ass close up like in vid of holy grail.

Just a lack of depth, IMO. Dude had dope beats, dope concepts, but he would never dig to make those concepts really deliver - it's like he would skate on the fact that he even had a concept, instead of really delivering. Strongest example is Heaven: crazy beat, dope concept...but when he really starts to get into religion, he just starts talking about money again :snoop:

It's still a good album, just not his best work

right on the money, it lacked feeling and substance. Part of what made Hov so good was that dude could say some shyt and it was damn near like a premonition or you could tell it came from a deeper wisdom. None of that was present on Magna Carta...the shyt is the most "right now" album i have ever heard in my life.

I agree. Jay is washed up lyrically. Anyone expecting this old man to drop gems needs their head examined.

But he does still drop gems. He still has the ability to do thorough concepts and triple entendres - that's what makes the album so frustrating in the first place, because it isn't there the whole time

Take your pick, breh. Any one and and you'd be better off

been listening to music from the internet a long time bruh. None of those are better than itunes. At all.

First off, sound quality is consistent in itunes. The music is portable. It doesnt take up space on your computer. and its way more convenient. You can say what you want about apple, but iTunes is the reason everything else exist bruh. lol. It sucking doesnt even make logical sense. You just being stubborn.

Why even go through downloading music from the internet. looking for it. Looking for a better copy of it. downloading it. Opening the folder. Opening the winamp. keeping all the music organized. lol. Why. Just pay 99. and get a official version from itunes and support the exchange of creative genius.

the problem with the album is jayz himself...its basically whats wrong with all his albums...his style is just wack and gets played out after 1 album.

nobody likes to hear about someone just talk about how cool they are ..who the fuk cares lmao ..doesnt know how to make good music

his presence and tone and all that is just not appealing ...not for 10 years..it was cool for 2-3 years...after that its obvious ur not gonna make classic music

just another dumb new yorker that thinks they are above every1...no one likes those ppl outside of new york..well no one loves them i mean.

his personality isnt likeable ..like not at all...his music cant penetrate ppls soul
