Some people seemed to misconstrue what I said here. I agree that LB would be dominate in the West, I'm just saying that he probably would have a tougher time. Literally, LBJ regularly only gets a true test in the conference finals, MAYBE the 2nd round every now and again. You take a healthy version of this Cavs team and place them in the West, it would not be a cake walk. Spurs, Clips, Rockets, Warriors and the Grizz were all title contenders this year. Idc what nobody says. Thats 5 teams and I didn't even include the "what if the Thunder were healthy" scenario. That would be 6 title contenders. The Spurs were unhealthy and unlucky. Clips choked. Rockets were super lucky and the Grizzlies were unhealthy. Had Conley not gotten injured, we may be looking at a different conference final match up and I'm a Curry fan.

The East this year, has 2 title contenders, Cavs and Bulls. LBJ would not be sweeping through the Western Conference playoffs. Especially not the conference finals. I mean, I'll give you the 1st and 2nd rounds but man these boys swept through the conference finals without two starters. The East is a joke. Dudes on here talking bout the Bobcats and Knicks had top defenses in years prior. Come on bruh. We talking bout title contenders. Stop tryna praise these sorry East teams .

There is no competition in the East and LeBrons feasting these last few years are a testament to that fact. Sorry.

Breh, people are acting like Lebron had a cakewalk but it's not that simple. The Spurs swept their first two rounds before they got knocked out by the Thunder in the WCF. The Spurs completely dismantled their WCF opponent's in the Grizzlies and swept them too while the Heat had a 7 game series against the best defense in the league.

Even if Curry is a much better player than someone like Tony Allen, who do you think Lebron would rather play in a one on one match? Who would be a more draining matchup?

Same idea. Lebron was playing physically tough teams that prided themselves on defense before having to deal with the more offense oriented West teams.

It's why the Heat had a lot more trouble against a team like the Pacers and the Celtics but proceeded to shyt all over the Thunder despite the fact that Thunder had just ran through the West like a Mack truck. Lebron matched up against the best in the West after dealing with multiple top flight defenses.

The only teams, in the West, that had a shot of beating a Lebron led team the past 4 years were the (Which they faced) Spurs and the Grizzlies.

2011 - 56 win Celtics with the 2nd best defense in the league that year and a 60 win Bulls team with MVP Rose that had swept the regular season series

2012 (Lockout) every he team he faced was the equivalent of a plus .500 team : Top 5 defense in the Knicks, a top ten in both offense and defense in the Pacers, and the best defense in the league against the Celtics (Mind you, his two best players were injured this year)

2013: Best defense in the league in the Pacers and a top tier (6th) best defense in the Bulls

2014: Top 5 defense against Charlotte, a team that was literally constructed to take advantage of the Heat's weakness in the Nets, and the best defense in the league against the Pacers.

Lebron was regularly dealing with the toughest and best defenses in the league so it's not like he's getting these cakewalks or has no wear and tear while playing more minutes than everyone else in the league when combining how much basketball he's played over the past 4-5 years.

Lebron is pretty much dealt with multiple "Grizzly" esque teams over the past 5 years. Teams that might not have the same offensive firepower as some of the West but makes every possession a physically strenuous affair and every basket a struggle.

You wasted your time writing this Fox News type of idiocy.... Lebron has feasted on pathetic competion while playing with 3 hall of famers...

3 finals losses & soon to be a 4th.... Which proves the theory of the garbage conference theory

Bobcats
Knicks
Hawks
Bulls (without Rose & Gasol this year)
Pacers
76ets
Bucks
:mjlol: That's his competition.,

He would've been bounced out the first or 2md round 5-6 times playing in the West:manny:

The fact he had to form a super team to beat inferior competition will always be an asterik on his career.

So two 60 win teams (Hawks and MVP Rose Bulls), 3 teams that were either the best or top 5 defensively (Pacers for two years, Bulls for one, Knicks were top 5), and then the best of the West...

2011 Bulls team was 2001 Sixers with AI..

Lebron had to join a super team to beat a 22 year old Rose...

Umm ok sure.... Doesn't matter what u think, history has already been written.. He formed a mega-team & feasted on garbage east

What Monster teams are in the West? The Thunder and Spurs run through most of those teams with ease and had Westbrook, Durant and Ibaka not had injuries in the past three seasons the Thunder would be going to their 4th Finals against Lebron. The Grizzlies, Clippers etc have never done shyt. The likes of Portland, New Orleans etc are hot garbage with empty stats when all is said and done. The Warriors and Houston (they shouldnt be here) are having a breakout season but its all thanks to an injury ridden Thunder team. This illusion of high competition is just that, a fukking illusion. Put Lebron on any of those teams and he is making it out of the West unless you can name us players that are far better than him that are in the West. Until then, let it go.

Its funny how now people are saying that bron has never faced tough comp on his way to the finals before. :camby:

But i remember coli nikkas gassin up a good majority of those teams :mjpls:

nikkas hyped up the 2011 bulls, said the 2012 knicks were the most dangerous 8 seed ever  said paul george was about to become a superstar, and said the heat should blow it up after game 5 of the boston series.

No one wants to talk about it, but the Big 3 celtics have more big time chokes than wins

no they don't, they have legit excuses

09 - KG hurt - legit excuse
10 - Perkins hurt refs cheated for lakers in the 4th quarter of game 7 gifting them 20 fts - legit excuse
11 - Wade breaks rondo's arm - legit excuse
12 - Lebron went SSJ and boston was to old to beat them

Exactly. If people wanna call this Cavs run easy then they have to call the Warriors run easy. There's a direct comparison in competition.

Nope.

Houston is the 2nd best team in the playoffs after GS.

Houston would get mopped by the Cavs so what would it matter even if that's true? Cavs and Warriors are clearly the two best teams and they had similar comp. going into the Finals.
